Christine Nichols was delighted and honoured to represent Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics during this past week at two special King’s Award for Enterprise receptions.
On Monday 8th July, Christine attended a reception for the Essex based winners of this year’s award, hosted by Jill Reeves, Lady Chairman of Essex County Council and Jennifer Tolhurst, Lord Lieutenant of Essex.
Then, on the evening of Tuesday 9th July, the official King’s Award for Enterprise reception took place at Windsor Castle hosted by His Majesty The King, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, where Christine was once more honoured to represent Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics.
The event was a great networking opportunity with this year’s winners, providing a chance to meet some of the most prestigious business people in the UK. Christine also had the unique and special opportunity to talk to His Majesty about Atlantic Pacific and women in transport and logistics.
Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics team were awarded the much coveted King’s Award For Enterprise in the International Trade category in May, which is widely considered to be the most prestigious award available to UK businesses.
