A New Community Partnership With Felixstowe Rugby

July 30, 2025

Christine is delighted to confirm that group company Port Express has entered into a new two-year sponsorship partnership with Felixstowe Rugby Club, a collaboration that reflects an aligned community mindset and shared values.

This partnership connects Port Express with a highly respected club that has demonstrated a long-standing dedication to the development of it’s sport and supporting local initiatives.

As part of the sponsorship, Port Express will be featured in upcoming Felixstowe Rugby Club events, matches, and promotional activities, further cementing the bond between the two parties.

Port Express Managing Director – James Watts – commented “We’re incredibly proud to become a top tier sponsor of Felixstowe Rugby Club. As a business rooted in Felixstowe, supporting a club that shares our values of teamwork, commitment, and community spirit feels like a perfect match.”

“The rugby club plays a vital role in bringing people together — from the junior teams just starting out to the seniors who represent the heart and soul of local sport. We see this sponsorship as a chance to give back to a community that supports us and to help nurture the next generation both on and off the pitch.”

“We’re excited to build a long-term partnership with the club, and we look forward to cheering the team on throughout the season. Together, we believe we can help make a real difference.”

The two-year sponsorship agreement marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration that should create lasting positive impact and promises to be a significant step forward in strengthening both brands’ relationships with the local community.

The partnership also aligns perfectly with Christine’s ethos of supporting local sporting projects, which also includes Billericay Town Women, Wexford Girls, Stanford-le-Hope Cricket, Debenham Bowls, Wexford Girls and Golfer Max Reynolds.
