A King’s Award For Enterprise For Atlantic Pacific

May 07, 2024

Christine was absolutely thrilled when Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics received the much coveted King’s Award For Enterprise in the International Trade category this year.

In a confirmation statement from the government, Atlantic Pacific were advised that His Majesty The King had approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation to award the accolade, which is widely considered to be the most prestigious award available to UK businesses.

The announcement followed a rigorous and demanding government auditing process, during which Atlantic Pacific demonstrated an excellent compliance record with HMRC, strong environmental and governance practices, outstanding acceleration in overseas revenue, and substantial year-on-year growth.

Christine Nichols – commented “We are proud and honoured to receive this fantastic award, which is a testament to the incredible efforts of our remarkable team”.

“The fact that this accolade is awarded to so few, especially to those of us within the freight forwarding and logistics sector, makes the achievement even more special to us”.

“Our business has successfully grown year-on-year through innovation, hard-work and dedication, and recognition like this will only strengthen our determination to continue providing industry leading solutions”.

The presentation of the King’s Award for Enterprise to Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics is the highlight of an award winning few months for Atlantic Pacific Group. While making the FEBE 100, Fast Growth 50 and Growth Index 100 award lists recently, Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics also received the British International Freight Association’s (BIFA) Award winner’s trophy for the European logistics category in January.

This year, the second King’s Awards For Enterprise, takes place on the first anniversary of His Majesty’s Coronation on 6th May 2023.  The proceeding Queen’s Awards date back to 1965. Atlantic Pacific are also delighted to have been invited to a reception at Windsor Castle, which will be hosted by His Majesty The King later this year.
